Data from the 2012 LSSSE Report show that students who report positive relationships with classmates and faculty also report stronger gains in professional and academic dimensions. High levels of interaction with peers and professors relate to greater development in students' writing, speaking and legal research skills, job- or work-related knowledge and skills, critical and analytical thinking, and ethical development.
